Dear Praying Friends,

Thank you for your prayers and support. I’m writing this as we are waiting to leave home in Sendai for the airport. We had a full worship service yesterday and welcomed the Kims who will look after the church for the next 5 weeks. We are in discussion with the OMF church in Izumi in the north of the city about calling a pastor to minister to both churches. We know the church well having ministered there 1992-1997 but are trying to deepen fellowship between the members of both churches in case the Lord leads us in that direction. Two weeks ago we had a combined little service at their cemetery crypt which they are allowing us to share (see pic). Thank you for praying for our home assignment in UK and RSA (Oct 31- Mar 9). We’ll be staying with my Mum in Havant most of the time and leaving for South Africa on 27th Dec.
