News From Damon & Gigi

As you know last month our little VW Golf broke, was written off, and sold to a scrapyard. Our hearts weighed very heavy as in our human understanding we could most certainly not afford a new car - we battle from month to month to make ends meet and to be honest... things looked grim. INcontext approached us and told us that they were committing to raise funds for us to purchase a new vehicle - and our hearts overflowed with gratitude!

Damon has had the privilege to do a few online sermons for Fynnland Baptist Church, to watch them click HERE.
When Damon returned from the Ukraine we found out that the total amount raised was a total of R115 000. We are in awe at how God used His Body to provide even more than we could ever have imagined! God is faithful! Over the weekend, we purchased our new vehicle - a Honda Civic.

We would like to extend our deep, heartfelt gratitude for your contribution towards our new car financially and through prayer. Words cannot express how grateful we are for your generous contributions. We pray that God would bless you for what you have given to us, and that He would richly supply for all of your needs just as He has used you to supply in our time of great need!

This vehicle will be a great blessing to us and many others for years to come and because of your generosity, we are sure that God will receive Honor, Glory, and Praise because of your obedience.
Ukraine Feedback:
If I could sum up the trip to Ukraine in one word, it would be: Spectacular!
Spectacular meetings:

Our time in Ukraine was filled with spectacular meetings. The LORD really blessed us with amazing opportunities to speak at different churches, in different cities, belonging to different organisations and denominations. All 5 of our meetings were broadcasted and live-streamed over social media – including YouTube, Facebook, and Zoom.

Spectacular people:

Our time in the Ukraine was also filled with Spectacular people. We made so many new friends while in the Ukraine and our hope is that the LORD would continue to grow our friendships and relationships with each other for many years to come. We got to meet pastors, visionaries, teachers, translators, students, journalists and prominent leaders in the Ukrainian Church.
Image above to the left: This was an unexpected meeting we had with a pastor (and his family) from Kryvyi Rih. We met them for lunch a few minutes before they had to leave for the airport.

Spectacular appointments:
As with any international trip, we try to make the most of our time while we are there. This means that we need to make appointments weeks and months in advance… Praise the LORD! Every appointment that we made came to be AND the LORD even added some other appointments to the schedule that we never even thought of. We got the opportunity to encourage missionaries, pastors, and Christians in their journey of obedience to the LORD’s calling on their lives. We got to pray with Brothers and Sisters on the frontlines of Discipleship and Evangelism in unreached people groups in Ukraine and also in Russia.

Spectacular revelations:

With trips like these, we are always amazed at how the LORD is able to use us in the most unexpected ways. When we spoke at these meetings and Churches, we saw the LORD use principles like forgiveness, love and unity to challenge and motivate the Church in Ukraine to seek after His Kingdom First. We were privileged to be able to be God’s voice to those who needed it, and an encouragement and a challenge to those who needed to step out of their comfort zones. I personally also learned valuable lessons on relationships while in the Ukraine that I will cherish and apply for the rest of my life.

Prayer Request:
1. Praise God with us for His provision in a new vehicle.
2. Praise God for a safe trip to and back from Ukraine and for divine appointments.
3. Please continue to commit our future to God and for us to be sensitive to the voice of God.
4. Please continue to commit Gigi's health to the Lord.
