Report on Karen Viljoen's Surgery May 2021
Thank you for praying for Karen.
I (Dale) have just returned from Hokuyu hospital after being there for about five hours. Karen came through the gallbladder surgery (laparoscopic cholecystectomy) well. The doctors and nursing staff are excellent, the most efficient I have experienced (referencing my own and Maude’s surgeries at various Japanese hospitals). I was shown the removed gallbladder and have the 9 stones for prosperity!
The next few days are likely to be uncomfortable/painful and Karen will need to rest up for about two weeks, mostly at home. I will not be allowed to visit her in hospital.

Café COEN will be closed next week because of Sapporo being on the highest level of COVID-19 virtual lock-down. Depending on what happens, we may need to extend the Café's temporary closure beyond May 31st.

It's so good to read Richard and Val news here. We are able to see the building of their home as it moves forward each week.

I trust that your ministry will be blessed and that God will continue to lead and guide you as you carry out His work in Parliament.
