Dear Friends,
“Thank you for your faithful prayers and loving support.” This statement is so easy to type but it’s significance is very meaningful for the one who writes it. When we write it to you it means that to us, you are an integral part of our lives and ministry. Your faithful prayers for us and our ministry are working and are greatly appreciated. We are thankful to those who show their love and support for our ministry through financial gifts which enable us to do what we’re doing. The responses to our newsletters and to our Facebook page are always a source of encouragement and a reminder that people are aware of what God is doing. This is why we can echo what Paul writes in his letters – constantly giving thanks for his friends – the Believers in the various churches.

The Easter weekend this year was relatively quiet compared to our normal Easter weekends when we are visiting with the Zionist churches - attending services at all hours of the day and night. We visited Port Shepstone Baptist on Good Friday and stayed home on Easter Sunday enjoying “TV Church”. We were blessed to join Scottsville Baptist by listening to their services on line. They had Warwick Cole-Edwards (retired Church of England pastor and Principal of a Bible College in Pietermaritzburg) as their speaker for the weekend. He preached on Thursday evening, Friday morning and Sunday evening. Pastor Steve preached on Sunday morning.
Andy has had a busy month of preaching and he’s enjoying serving the Lord in this way. We were at Idwala in Paddock, Port Edward Baptist and Scottsville Baptist and will be at Port Shepstone Baptist on 2nd May. It was a great blessing to be back at Scottsville Baptist in person after not being able to visit for so long due to covid restrictions.

PRAYER ITEMS : Pray for us as we prepare for ministry during May which involves a National WD “virtual seminar” for Heather instead of the annual Reload Conference at the Baptist Union Campsite. She will be facilitating an online meeting at Westville Baptist (Home Ground) when the local ladies will gather to participate in the Conference on zoom. The speaker will be the president of the Baptist World Alliance Women’s Department, Pray also for Andy as we have the responsibility of arranging the in person annual ZEBS Teachers Conference at the end of May.

FAMILY NEWS: We are sending this newsletter from the home of Andrea and the family as we are house sitting for them again. They are away for a week visiting with Kirsten and her family in Pretoria. Georgia turned 8 years old on 28th April and it has been a great time for the cousins to visit. During this past week we have been able to do some ministry in and around the Durban area, visiting some prayer supporters and Andy was able to attend a KwaZulu Baptist Fraternal meeting which he has not done for a long time.
Thank you for your faithful prayers and loving support.
Andy & Heather Sullivan
