2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV)
"For we live by faith, not by sight."

Walking by faith and not by sight takes us to places not yet known, one that God reveals as one walk in obedience - as with Abraham when he left his home to go to a land that God would show to him. Walking by faith allows us to continue to cling to the dreams God has planted in our hearts, even when things are tough - as with Joseph when he was sold into slavery by his own brothers and sent to prison being an innocent man! Walking by faith requires a strong determination to follow God’s plan regardless of what life throws our way - as with Job when he lost everything and Daniel when he was thrown into the lion’s den! Walking by faith is never an easy process but it is one that keeps us close to the Savior of our soul - Jesus! As you journey with God throughout this day, week and month - may your faith be ever-increasing!

Travel 2021:
Our mission is to travel with purpose, to "strengthen that which remains" (Rev 3:2), to encourage and to bring hope, to better understand and pray, to move from a spectator to participant in what God is doing and how He is building His kingdom around the world! Join hands with us and invest in the global kingdom.
In faith, Damon will be accompanying Gustav Krös, the director of INcontext International, on a trip to Ukraine from the 26th of May till the 10th of June. Gustav has been invited to share at different churches, they also go with the aim of strengthening, supporting, and speaking into the lives and ministries of partners in the country. This is a great opportunity to interact and engage with believers on the other side of the globe.
Over this period of time, I will be working from Durban. I am open to share at cell groups, ladies groups, and youth groups in this time. Contact me to check availability.
Prayer Requests:   Pray for Damon's and Gustav's Ukrainian visas to come through accepted and on time for their departure in May. Pray for God's favor. Pray for their time in Ukraine. Pray for divine appointments.
Nepal & Bhutan:
The purpose of this trip will be to visit & encourage two South African Missionary couples in Nepal - who have started their own businesses as missions and who are involved in teaching, skills development & discipleship. The largest religion in Nepal is Hinduism (83.3%) & Christianity makes up 1.3%. We will also be visiting with local believers in Bhutan. No Christian church in Bhutan has officially been recognised by the government & all Christians who worship together are technically worshiping illegally. The largest Religion in Bhutan is Buddhism (88%) & Christianity makes up 0.3% of the population.
Please prayerfully consider contributing toward us going on this trip.
(Bank details are at the bottom of this email, please use the reference: BHUTAN)
Prayer Request:   Please pray for the finances and all the preparations involved planning in such a trip.
Looking Ahead:
As you would have read in our past two News Letters, God has been setting our hearts on getting involved in a more congregational setting by calling Damon as a Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, or Senior Pastor of a church. We are in much prayer over this and will only begin to actively seek out positions as of mid-June 2021. Damon will also be doing his BU (Baptist Union) interview in June/July for Baptist recognition.
Prayer Requests:  Please join us in committing Damon's Baptist Union interview to the Lord. Please commit our futures into God's hands. Pray for His will above all else to be done. Pray for the right door to open and for Damon & I to be sensitive to the voice God.
Last year, I went to the Doctor and was told that I have something called PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome). It is a hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges and can really only be dealt with by a certain way of eating and lifestyle. It has not been an easy process, I have had up days and down days. I also have been struggling over the past two months with my energy levels. This is all new to me, I have never had to worry about my health before, however, the beautiful outcome of this situation is that it is a new area that I get to trust God in and to learn from Him! Psalm 73:26 (NLT) "My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever."
Prayer Request:   Please continue to pray for my health, for my energy levels and for me to continue to be disciplined in this area of my life.
