Psalm 25:4-5 (NLT)
"Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you."

Life is really an exciting journey when following God. Damon and I look back over our lives and are overwhelmed with so much gratitude for where God took us from to where we are today. When we both started following God, we never dreamed that we would have ended up at a bible school, studying the word of God, writing a book, sharing on radio stations, traveling the world with purpose, and meeting believers from all over the world. We look back and see the goodness of God everywhere! We never want to miss out on the path God wants us to follow today and every day for the rest of our lives. That is why this Psalm is the prayer of our hearts this year, "Show us the right path, point out the road we should follow, lead us by YOUR truths, for YOU are the GOD who saved us and our hope is in YOU alone!"

"The safest place in all the world is in the will of God." ~ Warren Wiersbe

Last year, the Lord began to lay a deep desire and longing in our hearts to do ministry full time in a congregational setting. We are trusting the Lord to open a door for Damon as a Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, or Senior Pastor at a congregation. We have shared this with the director of INcontext and the team, they support this call for when God opens the door.
On another note, we are also really excited as my parents will be visiting us in Cape Town from the 12th of February till the 28th of February. This is a special visit as it will be the first time they will step foot on a plane and it will be my mom's first time ever in Cape Town. We really look forward to this time together as a family!
Prayer Request:  Please pray the Lord to open the right door for us in His perfect timing. Please pray for travelling mercies for my parents.
Travel 2021 & 2022:
We have hit the ground running this year and have started to plan trips to the mission field. Last year, was a tough year with no travels, everyone was in crisis mode just trying to make it through the year. We are still in the same circumstances but we firmly believe that it is now time to thrive in the season we find ourselves in. God-willing we hope to go on both of these trips.
Nepal & Bhutan June 2021
Largest Religion in Bhutan: Buddism 88%
Christianity in Bhutan: 0.3% (currently in the 1st generations of Christians)
According to Open Doors, Bhutan ranks 43 on the world watch list for persecuted Christians. No Christian church in Bhutan has official government recognition—all Christians who worship together are technically worshiping illegally. INcontext International currently supports Pastors within Bhutan.
Largest Religion in Nepal: Hinduism 83.3%
Christianity in Nepal: 1.3%
According to Open Doors, Nepal ranks 34 on the world watch list for persecuted Christians. In Nepal, converts from Hinduism are put under the most pressure; they are viewed as deviating from the faith of the ancestors, and therefore breaking with their culture and their national identity. INcontext International currently supports a few missionaries within Nepal.
Please prayerfully consider contributing toward us going on this trip.

We have started to plan our Generation Next and Beyond Borders trip for May next year. After much discussion and prayer, we have decided that this trip is one to break new ground, allowing God to broaden the territory of the hearts, minds, and physical borders of our young people. The specific scripture that God laid on our hearts was: 1 Chronicles 4:10a Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory!” We have started this process earlier than usual for fundraising purposes, we are encouraging each young person to find 15 people to support them with R100 a month from April 2021 till April 2022. If you know of any young adults who might be interested in such a trip, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please prayerfully consider making a monthly contribution of R200 (for Damon & myself) from April 2021 till April 2022 for us to go on this trip.

Prayer Request: Please pray for the finances for us personally as well as for the young adults going. Please pray for all the preparations involved planning in such a trip.
