Ruphin and Eveline Pidipidi

Greeting to you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour who strengths us at this challenging time. He said:" peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid (John 14: 27 NIV).

Our News:

We were committed to study the Word of God at home during national lockdown. We went through the books of: Acts, 1 and 2 Corinthians to learn more about evangelism with the power of Holy Spirit. This is the way for us to grow spiritually and to equip ourselves at home. We have also Sunday service with breaking of bread every Sunday at home and listen to the preaching from the churches which are encouraging during this period of COVID 19. We have to lift up our eyes to the (hills) Lord- where does our " siza "(help in Zulu language) come from( see Psalm 121: 1 NIV).

We have moved to another house which is on 24 Gardenia Street/ Ext. 2 in Lenasia. Eveline likes the place where we are staying now. It is 2 bedrooms house. The challenge is to buy our own cupboards. God will provide at right time. "For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generation" (Psalms 100: 5 NIV).

Ministry news

SA National lockdown level 4 is about social distance, washing hands, using hand sanitizer and face mask which become new habits for all over us to fight against COVID 19. Wearing mask is an obligation for all staff and children who come at Khaya centre seeking food. Social distance is strictly respected by staff during Morning Prayer before the work starts at centre. This is challenging period for workers. We need to be near to God in prayer, worship (at home) and trust in Him. As David said in Psalm 23" the Lord is my shepherd, …" For you are with me "(V. 4) and …" Surely goodness and love will follow me "(V. 6). The Lord is with us all time and circumstances . We praise God as every child has a smile on his face and enjoying, receiving food at centre.

Praise and Prayer requests

•Praise for the new accommodation.

Pray for God intervention against COVID 19

•Pray for the children for this time of cold and flu.

Pray that the spirit of God will take control of everything and activities at Khaya

•Pray for our health and safety on the road while we travelling every day.
