News from Incontext

Latest news

 Dear Friends,
It is with excited hearts and grateful hearts that we write this newsletter to you.

We are so thankful f or your love and prayers as you have journeyed in this ministry with us .

As you know Damon completed his theological studies with his BTH.On Sunday the 9th of February Damon was ordained and recognized for his studies and is officially a Pastor(though he does not like the title haha!)The next step we are pursuing is to register him with the Baptist Union.

We do NOT feel our season at INcontext is coming to an end very soon and our hearts desire is truly to be in  the center of God’s will all the time, all the days of our life. Therefore,we will not be pursuing a job as a pastoral couple at a congregation yet as we feel that we are only in a season of being equipped for such a role.

INcontextInternational is a faith-based ministry that relies on the body of Christ to function. We have lost a few supporters this year and without you we are not able to do what we are currently doing.Would you prayerfully consider supporting us on a monthly basis. No amount is too little. Please also pray that the Lord would move people's hearts in this regard.Thank you for your continued love, prayers and support

Psalm 34:8 (NLT)

Planned Travels & Events 2020 :

13 th of March: Uganda Feedback (Cape Town)

A young group will be sharing their experience of God on the move amongst the South Sudanese refugees living in Uganda. Many of the young team had never been on a mission trip before or shared the gospel by door-to-door visits. Come and hear about what God is doing around the world!

The venue will be announced soon.

Everyone is welcome to attend!

4 th 14 th December: Generation Next & Beyond Borders (Uganda)

As an outflow of the generation next initiative to get young people excited and involved, we thought the best way to do this was to take them to see what God is doing around the world and allow the Holy Spirit to work in their hearts for an outcome. This trip will cost about

R13 000 per person. Damon and I, along with a few other young staff members will lead this team.

Please pray for the Lord’s guidance as we prepare such a trip as well as His provision.

15 th 17 th May: Generation Next Event

Generation Next exists under the umbrella of INcontext to inform & involve the next generation (youth & young adults) about what God is doing around the world. To encourage them to take their place in history and follow in the footsteps of the generations that have gone before them. My flight ticket is being fundraised by the INcontext volunteers in Durban. However, as project manager our heart is for Damon to attend as well. The flight tickets cost

R2 000 per person.

Please pray for all the preparations involved.

Between 20 th July 10 th August:

Member Care Trip (Georgia/Thailand/India)

There are a few people that Damon does member care for that are scattered around the world and have not been visited. The main idea of this trip is to bring them all together in one place where they are free to express their beliefs in Christ & a safe space to share their struggles on the field and to be encouraged (Georgia/Thailand). We then hope to visit a few partners in the field in India with the same purpose.

Please pray for all the logistics involved and for the LORD’s provision
